Cellar & Humidor is a collection management and community platform for adults of legal age. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information You Provide
When you create an account we store your email address and the display name you choose. When you catalog items, write reviews, upload photos, or interact with the community, that content is stored and associated with your account.
Profile Information
Your public profile (display name, username, bio, location, favorite categories) is visible to other users by default. You can make your profile private at any time from your settings.
Collection Information
The bottles, cigars, tasting notes, photos, ratings, and purchase information you add belong to you. By default your collection items, purchase prices, estimated values, storage locations, and personal notes are private and are not shown to other users unless you explicitly choose to make them public.
Reviews and Public Content
Reviews, comments, public collection items, and your public profile are visible to other users and may appear in community feeds, discovery, and search. You control the visibility of your content through your privacy settings.
Photos
Photos you upload are stored with your chosen permission level (personal, community, or promotional). You retain ownership of your photos. See our Photo Use & Permission Policy for details.
Preferences and Settings
Your privacy choices, notification preferences, and visibility settings are stored to provide and maintain your experience.
Usage Information
We may collect information about how you interact with the service, such as features used and general activity patterns, to improve the platform.
Device and Browser Information
Like most web services, we may receive technical information such as browser type, device type, and IP address for security, abuse prevention, and service operation.
Technical Logs
We maintain logs for security, debugging, and abuse prevention. These logs are not used to build personal profiles and are retained only as long as needed for these purposes.
Data We Do Not Sell
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete individual items, reviews, photos, and content at any time. You can request deletion of your account data from your Profile settings. We process account deletion requests in accordance with applicable law.
Security
Access to your private data is enforced server-side. Other users cannot read your private collection items, notes, or purchase information by guessing links or IDs.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can export your data from your Profile settings.
